Grupo MTL offers two types of bullet-proof opaque material: the BP 77 Compossitum and the BP 2929 Z.

BP 77 Compossitum

• Between its basic qualities are that it is very light and thin in comparison to other materials that offer similar levels of security.
• Thickness: 1/4" with NIJ V50 and V100 tests.
• These sheets have not been under heat treatments, reason why they have the capacity to bend in its manufacture, without varying its properties of ballistic shock resistance.
• Ballistic shock resistance before the quickest projectiles and of high penetration (such as the 7,62 x51 NATO and 5.56mm=0.223 SS109), it supports concentrated shootings. For greater details as far as ballistic shock resistance, please contact us.
• Plate level is based on NIJ standard, presenting a level #4 equivalent to the level #8 of UL.
• The material is given with laboratories tests, appropriate on this matter.
• Common applications: shield of automobiles, doors and in applications in which because of its use or its location (intermediate or high buildings) the weight is a preponderant factor.

BP 2929 Z:

• Peso por metro cuadrado equivalente a 100Kgs.
• Espesor: láminas de 1/2"
• El material no tolera dobleces, no obstante es perforable mediante brocas especiales y también maquinable.
• Resistencia balística ante los proyectiles más veloces y de alta penetración, soporta tiroteos concentrados. Para mayor detalles en cuanto a resistencia balística, por favor contáctenos.
• Aplicaciones comunes: en lugares fijos, donde el elevado peso no sea un factor determinante.
